This JAM is DOPE! Hey Mama- Mat Kearny (been following him since way back!)
One of my FAVE songs on this Album is “The Fathers Heart” AMAZEBALLZ
Outback and Vegemite aren’t the only Australian exports! Guy Sebastian is fantabulous!
Ok, so besides the fact that I love very, very, strong forearms on a man, one arm sleeve tattoos and beautiful eyes, lets admit, a voice like the one this sweet hot Aussie exudes is simply, icing on the cake!
If you haven’t had a chance to get to know what this amazing Australian artist has to offer, PLEASE DO! You will NOT regret it! Guy Sebastian was the first season winner of Australian Idol back in 2003 and has had amazing success down under. I started listening to this dude about a yr and half ago as I was randomly looking for Jordin Sparks videos on youtube and stumbled upon their duet together. I was like “HOLD UP! Who the heck is this dude???” I was so shocked to also find out that the great David Ryan Harris produced his album Like It Like That and guess what!? JOHN MAYER played the majority of the guitar parts on his album!! Stupid cool!! Thats just cray cray!?!?!
Anyways. This guy, hahaha get it? GUY! Haha, uh hum, my jokes, well, um, anyways, seriously motivates and inspires me to be IMPECCABLE with my live performances. He’s freaken REDICULOUS live!! He doesn’t miss a beat or a note! He’s totally not lazy, EVER!! This man puts everything into his live performances, from his breathing, dynamics, to full force interpretation. The dude totally rehearses what he’s going to do!
He’s currently promoting his latest single “Who’s that girl” with rapper Eve featured on the track, here in the US. He was just on Extra at the Grove performing the single!
Check out the first video I ever saw of his on youtube!
This Sveedish (Swedish) girl named Robyn
Ok, so I’ve been a fan of Robyn since way back in the day, like 2000. When she had that song out. “show me love” crazy huh!? Thats her!
Well, I wanna share the fact that her music is dopealicious. Dope. Walking in the subways and killing myself at the gym is just so much cooler with this seeping through my ear wax (sorry to be so gross, deal with it. lol) But, so Yeah. Her music is the future like Black Eye Peas. Love it.
Ray LaMontagne “Trouble”
This guy has one of the sweetest voices I have ever heard
Ray Lamontagne
Currently have this on repeat during my incessant rainy stay in the Big Apple
